Vecsys-Research has opening for 2 R&D engineers, to develop and improve tools and models for automatic indexing of multilingual audiovisual documents. We are seeking candidates with substantial programming experience who are able to carry out careful experimental work, paying attention to details. We are looking for highly-motivated, goal-driven individuals who also desire to be team players.

Main qualifications:

• Master's or Engineering degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Strong programming skills using C/C++ and scripting languages in a UNIX/Linux environment
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Fluency in one or more other languages is a strong plus (in particular Arabic, Dutch, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish)

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in speech and language processing.

Location: Orsay, France (about 25km out of Paris )
